First, you need to get to Cottbus, which is easy to do from Dresden, Leipzig, and Berlin via the RE or ICE. Of course, you can also get there from any other locations not listed here.

2. Next, take the RE 65 toward Zittau from Cottbus to Neuhausen/Spree. It’s just one stop, and the ride takes about 7 minutes. BUT PLEASE NOTE: You must press the “stop button” on the train to ensure it stops at Neuhausen. This train runs once an hour.

3. From the Neuhausen train station to Koppatz (“Ziebart Auto Repair Shop”), you’ll walk through a beautiful forest (about 25 minutes / 2.7 km)

4. We are trying to organize a shuttle service for the festival, both for luggage and for you. However, it will not be able to run every hour. Updates will follow shortly before the festival begins.

By Car

1. Your first stop, accessible from almost any direction, is Cottbus. You can find the exact address of the venue for your GPS above.

2. The best way to reach Cottbus by car is via the A13 if you’re coming from Berlin or Dresden. If you’re coming from the direction of Leipzig, we recommend taking the B87 instead. Drive on it until Duben, and then just the last 40 km on the A15 to Cottbus-Süd, as this is 50 km shorter (and saves fuel). The same route applies to everyone coming from Berlin or Dresden.

3. The camping area is NOT a parking lot and must not be driven on by cars, as it is used for regular agricultural purposes. All cars that are not clearly campers must be parked in designated parking areas, which will be located not far from the camping area.

4. We will set up an area for campers. PLEASE BRING A TARP TO PLACE UNDER YOUR CAR!

</details>

<details class="wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item">

Residents

Collaboration with residents of the neighboring town of Koppatz is essential to the success of this project and is a priority for us.

Koppatz residents have already been actively involved in recent years, taking on important tasks and providing materials. We want to expand this collaboration to create a project that preserves our shared interests while also fostering opportunities for exchange and establishing an alternative cultural offering in the region.

As the Feldsalat e.V. association, it is very important to us to foster a positive relationship with the residents of the surrounding villages. We have long been in close contact with the local communities and have presented our association’s goals as well as the concept behind the Feldsalat festival. In addition, we aim to further expand our collaboration with the residents of the neighboring town of Koppatz.

Respecting the needs of local residents is therefore our top priority. We take their concerns seriously and are actively committed to minimizing any disruption caused by the festival. In doing so, we pay particular attention to noise control measures and ensuring that quiet hours are observed.

As a gesture of goodwill for the noise disturbance we will cause, all residents of Koppatz are welcome to visit the festival grounds free of charge.
